PT Studios was created by local business entrepreneurs Alexander De'crecy Treffry and Kieron Phillpotts. Both have extensive experience in business, each working in the field for over 15 years. They also run a facilities company based in the Cotswolds that operates on a national level. They understand that the film industry is primarily a business, and by treating it as such, they can ensure its growth while delivering on the artistic side—the stories and visions they have. Imagination and creativity in film have always been their passion.

Robin A Townsend

Alexander, under his working name Robin A. Townsend, has worked in the industry part-time for a few years, building a network of contacts. While working as a line producer on large motion pictures from America and India, as well as on smaller local productions, he has gained significant industry experience. Robin successfully wrote and produced Desperate End, which was filmed in the former Soviet Union country of Kyrgyzstan. This was a mammoth task completed on a shoestring budget, and the film has been performing well on the international film festival circuit.

Not allowing the grass to grow under their feet, Robin and Kieron have decided to expand their portfolio with a new feature-length motion picture, set to begin principal photography in February 2025. This psychological horror thriller aims to be distributed internationally.

 

Kieron Phillpotts
